Colour Meanings of Single Roses


A single red rose SINGLE RED ROSE: The most meaningful flower of all is considered to be the red rose. A single red rose is used to send a message of romantic love.

A single white roseSINGLE WHITE ROSE: says “I’m sorry.” It can also symbolize light, purity and innocence. Thus, a single white Rose can mean that you consider that person to be pure or that your love is very pure.

A single peach roseSINGLE PEACH ROSE: symbolizes friendship to a best friend or lover.

A single yellow roseSINGLE YELLOW ROSE: expresses happiness and love. But it can also express jealousy. A handwritten note with the rose would eliminate any miscommunication or misunderstandings.

A single purple roseSINGLE PURPLE ROSE: says “I think  you are beautiful.”

A single pink roseSINGLE PINK ROSE: symbolizes gratitude and admiration

A single black roseSINGLE BLACK ROSE: says “It is over.” This is one way of ending a relationship.
