Trend Alert: Vintage Containers for Flowers

What is old is new again. Ironically, the vintage look is modern and chic. Old tin cans, milk jars, tea pots, and wooden crates are in high demand. People are searching high and low for these coveted vintage containers, especially brides. For the past few years, vintage-theme weddings have been really popular. But brides aren’t the only ones going retro, it is also a hot trend in home decor. And the best part is that these containers are inexpensive and readily available. Look for them in flea markets, second-hand stores, garage sales, online or even in your own home. Antiquing can be a lot of fun! Pair with old-fashioned, pastel-coloured flowers, such as dusty carnations, antique roses and peonies. Contrasting colours and textures will add drama and interest; mix and match containers and flowers.

Here are some decorating ideas to inspire you!
