The Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival is one of major tourist attractions in the Epcot Theme Park in the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando Florida during the months of March, April and May. It’s a must-see for flower lovers!
During this time of the year, visitors can feast their eyes on beautiful garden landscapes and topiary. There are over 100 topiaries, 225 floating mini gardens and flower beds, and impressive flower towers. And course, being a Disney theme park, visitors will be delighted to see the Disney character topiary, featuring Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Pluto, Tinker Bell, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and more!
Other displays and events include a butterfly house with more than 1000 native butteries, garden presentations, a marketplace, interactive areas for kids, and live music. And at night, some of the gardens will be illuminated for a spectacular nighttime viewing experience!
This year is the 20th anniversary of the festival. The festival runs from March 6, 2013 to May 19th, 2013.
