Flower Crafts: Flower Crown/Headband Tutorial


With so many flowers in bloom, summer is the perfect time to wear flowers in your hair!  Flowers are so pretty, feminine and romantic! It’s no wonder, flowers make the perfect accessory! The flower crown continues to be a popular trend, especially for fashionistas who want to achieve that bohemian/hippie look.  They are perfect for attending summer festivals, concerts, weddings or anytime!

And here’s how you can learn to make your own flower crown/headband!

Materials Needed:

  • floral wire/string
  • scissors/wire cutters
  • flowers
  • ribbon
  • headband
  • hot glue gun

In the video, this crafty YouTuber will show you how to make 2 different styles of flower crowns. She uses artificial flowers, but you could use fresh flowers from the garden or wildflowers.
